The Root of All Evil: Sitting

Sitting: a popular position, root of all evil.

It’s a killer on the hips, posture, low back, neck and even the back of your thighs.

Everything seems to either tighten up after a while or you  just feel so stiff.

You’re  stuck in a chair that forces you to sit….

uncomfortably…

in a position that closes your hips; shortens your hamstrings, and freezes your butt.

Oye!

If you could just get up and move around a bit, you might at least feel better.

Sounds reasonable.

Here is a video I made while I was at a 2 day workshop- I couldn’t sit anymore!

I took my camera, went out on the lawn outside the hotel at lunch and just moved.

These moves are typical of what we do in the studio for every private session/class to get our bodies to be more gel-like when stirred up.

As you’ll see, it’s very thixotropic!

I’m sure others were looking out their windows at ‘this gal on the lawn’— I sure hope they got some good take aways.

So here’s the video.
