Look don’t be scared of ginger.

Sure, it’s got a bite to it.

That’s the invigorating part.

Start slow. Integrate.

Try it this way, ginger tea is so simple:

You ready?

Pour boiling water over 1-3 ginger slices, steep 5-10 minutes, enjoy.

Drink 2-3 cups daily.

Add a little punch, boost, and zing not only to your day, but your health too.

  • And how about candied ginger? Does the sugar offset the health benefits?

  • Lisa

    Mary, great question.

Despite the added sugar of say, crystallized ginger, the sugar doesn’t truly offset the health benefits of ginger as it doesn’t change the good qualities inside the ginger itself.

According to the diabetic nutrition site DLife, approximately one cup, of crystallized ginger contains 100 calories, 26g of carbohydrates and 11g of sugar.

Moderation is key, as this form can be addicting to some!
